'Floation' art exhibition at Business Park

The exhibition has been curated by Beverley Carpenter, the Park's artist in residence, in association with Wysing Arts and Commissions East. Alongside eight guest artists and with a performance by Cambridge artists TNWK, Beverley exhibited her own work alongside David Lambert and Gabriel Norland developed during her on-going project at Cambourne.
A number of the artists used video and the exhibition was laid out in the style of an open plan office with one film projected and guests were able to sit at each desk and explore for themselves the artwork and ideas of the individual artists.
The exhibition has now be moved to Wysing Arts Gallery in Bourn where it is will be on public view until 5 March.
Cambourne Business Park is currently hosting two visual artists-in-residence, sculptor Taslim Martin and digital artist Beverley Carpenter. The artists are working in complementary ways to enhance the long-term physical quality and community values within the development.
The innovative project has come about through a creative partnership between Cambourne Business Park, Wysing Arts and Commissions East and has received a maximum £50,000 award from the New Partners Scheme run by Arts & Business East.
