Campbells move into Business Park
15 Jul 2002
Campbell is taking the entire top floor of Building 2020, the largest of three buildings designed by award winning architects Aukett Associates, and prominently positioned near the main entrance to the Business Park. The building will be home to Campbell's sales and marketing teams, some of whom have relocated from existing sites in King's Lynn and Crawley.
Brian Mirsky, UK Managing Director, Campbell Grocery Products, commented: "Campbell is going through an exciting period of growth and Cambourne Business Park offers a great strategic location to drive this process. The new office enables us to bring all our commercial skills together in a single office and will give us a modern, stimulating environment to work in."
Daniel Van Gelder, Associate Director of Development Securities Projects Limited, said: "Cambridge is one of the UK's most attractive areas for relocation and it is a measure of the unique nature of Cambourne Business Park that we are continuing to attract quality tenants like Campbell."
Located nine miles from Cambridge city centre, the 750,000 sq. ft Business Park is an integral part of the new Cambourne settlement, a 1,040-acre scheme of 3,300 houses with associated education, health, shopping and leisure facilities. The ability to buy property close to one's workplace has been a considerable attraction in encouraging companies to relocate to Cambourne and there are now over 30 Cambourne residents who are employees on the Business Park.
